Patsy's Sunflower Cookies
  • 1 c oat flour
  • 1 c brown rice flour
  • 1 c hulled sunflower seeds (unsalted)
  • 1/2 c oat bran
  • 1/4 c honey
  • 3 T applesauce (unsweetened)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c water
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine all ingredients together and mix until dough forms.  Roll out on a lightly floured surface to 1/4" thickness.  Use cookie cutter to into shapes.  Place on ungreased cookie sheet (they can be close together, they don't expand much while cooking)
  • Bake 20-25 minutes.  Let cool completely on a wire rack.  Store the cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Mick's Cheeseburger Treats
  • 1 c oat flour
  • 1 c potato flour
  • 1 c shredded low fat cheddar cheese
  • 1 c lean ground beef (cooked and drained)
  • 1 6 oz can of tomato paste
  • 2 T sesame seeds
  • 1 T parsley (dried or fresh chopped)
  • 1/4 t garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c water
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine all ingredients except seasame seeds, mix until dough forms.  Form into hamburger shaped patties (about 2" in diameter).  Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.  Place on a cookie sheet, close together, sprinkle with seasame seeds.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes.  Let cool completely on a wire rack.  Store the cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Patsy's Tuna Melt Treats
  • 1 c oat flour
  • 1 c brown rice flour
  • 1/2 c oat bran
  • 6 oz can-albacore tuna (in water)
  • 1/2 c shredded low fat cheddar cheese
  • 2 T sesame seeds
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c water
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Pour entire contents of can of tuna (including all water and juices) into a food processor and finely grind.
  • Combine all ingredients and mix until dough forms.  Add or decrease water amount a little based on the amount of liquid in the can of tuna.  Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface, to 1/4" thickness.  Use a cookie cutter or pizza cutter to cut out shapes. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.  Place on a cookie sheet, close together, sprinkle with seasame seeds.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes.  Let cool completely on a wire rack.  Store the cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Patsy's Banana Treats
  • 1 c oat flour
  • 1 1/2 c brown rice flour
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1 c rolled oats (old fashion kind, not instant)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c bananas (mashed and pureed)
  • 1/2 c water


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.  Roll into small balls (about 1" in diameter) and place on an ungreased cookie sheet, can be close.  Press each one down with your hand, to flatten the cookies.
  • Bake 18-22 minutes or until edges are golden brown.  Let cool completely on a wire rack.  Store at room temperature in a loosely covered container.
Patsy's Bahama Mama Treats
  • 1 c oat flour
  • 1 c brown rice flour
  • 1 c shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c peanut butter (unsalted)
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 3/4 c water
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine all ingredients mix thoroughly.  Roll into small balls (about 1" in diameter) and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.  Press each one down with your hand, to flatten the cookies. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, close together is okay.
  • Bake 18-22 minutes.  Let cool completely on a wire rack.  Store at room temperature in a loosely covered container.
